WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) issued the following statement after President Joe Biden signed several executive orders that will destroy jobs and threaten homeland security.
The actions include revoking permits for the Keystone XL pipeline, eliminating travel restrictions for countries with high levels of terrorist activity, rejoining the Paris Agreement, increasing regulations on American businesses, ending construction of enhanced Border Wall system, and restoring federal funding to sanctuary cities.
“President Biden wasted no time enacting job-killing and dangerous policies. His first-day executive orders make America less secure, weaponize government against private industry, and further injure our economy. I will continue working in Congress to provide oversight over the actions of this administration.”
