JENNINGS, LA – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) commended Greenberry Industrial’s announcement of a $500,000 investment to retrofit the former Gulf Island Shipyards facility near Jennings into a manufacturing plant.
Greenberry will use the site to manufacture heavy industrial modules for the petrochemical, maritime, energy, pulp and paper, and high-tech semiconductor industries. The project is expected to create 100 direct jobs and 144 indirect jobs in Jeff Davis Parish. Read more about the announcement here.
