WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) sent a letter to President Biden this week urging him to rescind Executive Orders (EO) 13990 and 14008, which would have harmful effects on oil and gas production.
The letter reads, in part, “Your day-one decision to enact broadscale, anti-job, anti-industry EOs during a time when our nation is faced with hardship and uncertainty is beyond misguided. It is a failure of leadership. While your EOs may excite your base, you have made America less safe, put the wellbeing of millions of families at risk, and exacerbated the economic consequences of COVID-19.”
