LAKE CHARLES, LA – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) announced today that FEMA is awarding an additional $4,507,836.76 for hurricane recovery efforts in South Louisiana. The grants include:
Congressman Higgins issued the following statement: “These reimbursements are good news for South Louisiana’s recovery mission. After my conversation with FEMA Administrator Criswell last week, we’ve seen progress on a number of outstanding Public Assistance applications. We’ll continue working with FEMA to expedite those approvals and deliver much-needed recovery resources to South Louisiana.” |
