A more extensive timeline of Congressman Higgins’ actions on hurricane recovery is available here.

Congressman Higgins issued the following statement:

“We have now delivered over $3.4 billion in disaster relief for Hurricanes Laura and Delta. My office is working closely with FEMA and the Calcasieu Parish School Board to expedite outstanding reimbursements, and this $2.9 million is a step in the right direction. We will not stop working for Southwest Louisiana.”
