  • Description: The funding would be used to advance the Preconstruction, Engineering, and Design (PED) phase for the Houma Navigation Canal project. The channel supports commercial maritime industry and shipbuilding for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, National Marine Fisheries Service, and NSF.

Houma-Terrebonne Airport – West Ramp Rehabilitation Project Phase II

  • Description: The funding would be used to modernize critical infrastructure originally built in the 1940s to support today’s heavier and more frequent aircraft traffic.   • Description: The funding would be used to advance critical features of the Morganza to the Gulf system. The project provides flood risk reduction to approximately 200,000 people living within Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes. The Morganza project also protects an industrial base that supports domestic energy production, commercial maritime operations, and shipbuilding for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, NOAA, and NSF.
