WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) introduced H.R. 5581, the Uniform Standards Protection Act, which would block states and localities from imposing uniform and gear requirements on federal law enforcement officers, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Liberals who all of a sudden hate masks are the first ones to hide under a table when something goes down, and then they scream for the police. We get that, and we just do our job because we’re TBL. My bill just calmly tells liberal asshats like Gavin Newsom that his authority over federal law enforcement officers is zero,” said Congressman Higgins.
