Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) issued the following statement after voting against Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
“Madame Pelosi and House Democrats will spend the next two years attacking President Trump and trying to advance a socialist agenda that will flatten our economy, weaken our military, encourage illegal immigration, and generally injure America. Today, the nature of my battle in Washington D.C. has changed. America has taken a hard left turn.”
