WASHINGTON D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins sent a letter in support of the approval of the Venture Global LNG pipeline that will supply natural gas from Jasper County, Texas, and end in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, where their LNG export facility will be located.
“The CP2 LNG Project will create good-paying jobs and boost local economies. It will also provide a reliable source of clean energy. Furthermore, the CP Express natural gas pipeline will be essential in transporting the natural gas required for the facility’s operations in a safe and efficient manner,” writes Congressman Higgins.
The letter continues to emphasize how critical this project is for South Louisiana, “I believe this project will bring significant benefits to our region, contribute to America’s energy dominance, and improve our national security.
