LAFAYETTE, LA – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) commended First Solar’s announcement of a $1.1 billion solar manufacturing facility at the Acadiana Regional Airport in Iberia Parish. The project will create 700 new direct manufacturing jobs and is believed to be the single largest capital investment in the area’s history.
