WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Homeland Security Border Security Subcommittee Chairman Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) released the following statement on the recent retirement announcement of U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz.
“Our southern border is like a third world country, Biden and Mayorkas are 100% responsible, and Chief Ortiz was the one reliable source at the very top of the DHS chain,” said Congressman Higgins. “It was clear that his dedication to actual enforcement of our law did not fit well with the Mayorkas/cartel agenda to flood America with illegals and drugs. Chief Ortiz was an American Patriot who dared to speak the truth about Secretary Mayorkas.”
