WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) announced today that the Department of Transportation (DOT) is awarding $1,453,032.00 for the rehabilitation of the runway at Jennings Airport.
“While I opposed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in its totality as a matter of principle, some of the proposals within the bill were solid. Ultimately, the bill became law, and the funding has been allocated. We continue to advocate for the advancement of Louisiana projects,” said Congressman Higgins. “This funding will provide much needed resources to improve our local airport so that we can continue to provide for the community.”
