WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) issued the following statement after voting against S. 2938, unconstitutional gun control legislation.
“Democrats are devouring the Constitutional rights of law-abiding American citizens. I am disheartened that so many Republicans joined in this erosion of Second Amendment protections. These restrictive and oppressive policies will not save lives. It will only increase barriers to legal gun ownership. We will not stop fighting to protect the Second Amendment.”
