CROWLEY, LA – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) announced today that FEMA will award an additional $1,332,572.50 for hurricane recovery efforts in South Louisiana.

The reimbursement will be made to the Acadia Parish Police Jury for debris removal operations in response to Hurricane Laura. The reimbursement is made at a 100% federal cost-share.

All funding will be delivered to the State of Louisiana. The state is responsible for disbursing the funds to each sub-recipient.
