LAFAYETTE, LA – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) announced today that Le Gros Memorial Airport in Crowley and Harry P. Williams Memorial Airport in Patterson will receive over $206,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for infrastructure upgrades.

  • Le Gros Memorial will receive $71,100 to upgrade 6,000 feet of the airport’s existing drainage system to eliminate ponding on airfield surfaces.
  • Harry P. Williams Memorial will receive $135,000 for updates to the airport’s master plan and layout plan to address future development goals.

Congressman Higgins issued the following statement:

“Each local airport across South Louisiana is a hub for commercial activity. Investments like these ensure our airports can continue to support industry and economic growth.”
