LAFAYETTE, LA – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) announced today that Lafayette Regional Airport will receive $2 million from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for construction work on the new terminal project. The grant will finance the project’s sixth phase, which consists of electrical and interior work.
Congressman Higgins issued the following statement:
“We continue to work with Lafayette Regional and our federal partners to provide resources for the new terminal project. Construction efforts are progressing well, and completion of the new terminal will deliver much-needed upgrades and expanded capacity at the airport.”
