LAFAYETTE, LA – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) issued the following statement of support after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced $190,781,430 in funding to expand Coronavirus testing in Louisiana. The funding is made available through the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act.
“Louisiana needs to reopen our economy at 100% capacity. This expansion of testing will expedite that effort, and we’ll continue to work with our federal partners to provide necessary resources for Louisiana.”
