WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) issued the following statement after voting against H.R. 6800, a $3 trillion spending bill full of liberal policies.
“Madame Speaker Pelosi is using this virus to push her agenda. This bill is full of every imaginable liberal policy, including money for illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities, stripping pro-life protections, radical changes to our election laws, and spending vast amounts of the People’s treasure without any bipartisan agreement whatsoever. This Bill injures America, it will not be considered in the Senate, nor would it be signed into law by President Trump. We, the People, will not accept Speaker Pelosi’s personal, twisted version of America.”
