WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) recently posted a video to his social media accounts that outlines the mission of border enforcement agents, the purpose of physical barriers, and what resources are needed from a boots-on-the-ground perspective.
Congressman Higgins issued the following statement:
“Border agents are tasked with detecting, deterring, and responding to illegal crossings. This is their mission. Physical barriers and wall infrastructure delay illegal crossings, allowing border enforcement agents greater response time. The wall is mission critical. This is the report directly from the boots on the ground.”
