Congressman Clay Higgins will host a veterans workshop in Crowley on May 29 to help veterans with questions and casework regarding a variety of benefits. Representatives from the New Orleans VA Regional Office, the Alexandria VA Health Care System, the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs, the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home, and Congressman Higgins’ office will be present.
Veterans can receive assistance with filing claims and enrolling in VHA care. Representatives will also be available to speak about loans and education benefits, homeless outreach, vocational rehabilitation, and pending VA legislation in Congress.
