WASHINGTON DC – As President Donald J. Trump was sworn in today as the 45th President of the United States, Rep. Higgins (R-LA) is enthusiastic about the new administration.
“The mood in DC is incredibly optimistic,” said Congressman Higgins. “There is an energy rolling through the streets here that folks can feel and sense. I look forward to being able to contribute to the reforms that Congress can work toward, with the vision and leadership of a new President,” said Higgins.
Congressman Higgins spent much of Thursday visiting with citizens from Louisiana and the Third Congressional District who made the trip to share in the festivities. Higgins, along with his wife Becca, will be active participants throughout the entire inaugural celebration.
